| CITA Trade Test for Trackworker | The CHKPWS has assisted CITA in developing the Trade Test for Trackworker
with the objective of raising the standard of permanent way expertise in
Hong Kong.
Master Trackworkers upon successfully passing this trade test may then be registered as skilled workers under the Workers Registration Scheme. |
| Supervisor Certification Scheme | In order to promote the professional status and enhance the competency standard of the Permanent Way Supervisor who plays a very important role in the construction and maintenance of Permanent Way, the CHKPWS has implemented a certification scheme which can enable the skills and competencies of a Permanent Way Supervisor to be assessed and recognized in a commonly accepted standard |
| CHKPWS / GRA Advanced Railway Management Course | The 2002 Course was held from 5 - 8 December in Guangdong. The 2003 course is scheduled
for 4 - 7 November.
