RICHARD KEEFE Secretary Richard was elected as Secretary to the CHKPWS Committee in 2004.

Richard has spent his career working for Railway administrations in the field of railway track design and maintenance. He started as a Trainee in the Permanent Way office with British Rail in the UK. He then moved to London Underground where worked in track design and quality assessment.

Richard moved to Hong Kong in 1992 to join MTR Corporation in the Permanent Way Section. In 1997 he headed the Section, responsible for management of the track system on the whole MTR network. In April 2001 he took up responsibility for infrastructure maintenance for the new Tseung Kwan O Line, which opened in 2002.

He obtained an MSc in Engineering Business Management in 1998 from Warwick University, UK.
