EDMOND CHIU YU YING Committee Member Edmond has previously held the post of Membership Secretary.

Edmond graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. He has 17 years experience as a civil enngineer including 13 in Permanent Way.

Edmond has been involved in the deisgn and construction of the Island Line, Light Rail Phase 1 and the Lantau & Airport Railway. He is presently Area Permanent Way Manager overseeing the northern section of trackwork construction for the KCRC West Rail project.

Edmond has been actively involved in Permanent way Society acitivties in Hong Kong and China. With his broad Permanent Wya experience he hopes to promote the status of the Society, improve the skills of Permanent Way workers in Hong Kong and attract more young engineers to take up Permanent Way Engineering in Hong Kong.
