ADI LAU President Adi is a founding member of the Society and was its Chairman since its inception until March 2003.

Adi is a civil engineering graduate of the University of Hong Kong and an MBA graduate of the University of Michigan. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Corporate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

He joined MTR Corporation in 1982 and has been involved in the design, construction and maintenance of the railway systems.

Adi is presently the Operations Manager for the Airport Railway and is accountable for the safe, reliable, efficient and effective railway operation of the Airport Express Line and the domestic Tung Chung Line in Hong Kong.

Adi was elected as a Committee Member and a Council Member of the China Railway Society in September 2002.
